Historical Museum
While you’re in Ontonagon, you’ll definitely want to stop at the Ontonagon County Historical Society Museum. You’ll find artifacts from the county’s history of mining, logging, and farming, and marine heritage. Free treasure hunts for the kids makes this a must-see when you’re visiting our corner of the world.
We’re open 7 days a week from mid-May to mid-October, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can also buy tickets for the lighthouse at the museum or pay when you get to the lighthouse (tours available anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. every day).
